Welcome to Spring 2012 Driver Education

Things to Remember

Bring your permit to show the teacher at the beginning of the class

and when scheduled to drive.

Students without permits or missing homework will not be permitted to drive.

Check PASS for your classroom status

All students and one parent must attend one Parent Meeting February 2nd or 9th from 6:00 to 7:30

Receiving a duplicate Yellow Card

Due to the change in state procedures duplicate Yellow Cards must go through the superintendent. The process can take up to two or three weeks to be processed.

Welcome to Driver Education Fall 2011 Class

All work must be in by the end of the week it is assigned.

Any work may be turned in early and this is encouraged.

At any time if you do not understand an assignment ask the teacher.

Any work turned in later than the week noted will be docked 10 points per week.

Driving starts in two weeks ( Sept 26) be sure to bring your permit

To complete the course and receive your Yellow Card you must:

* All homework assignments completed and graded and passed with 80% average

* Project has to be completed and presented and passed

*All Tests/Quizzes taken 80% or better average

* All class time that has been missed must be made up

* Drivers Education Log Sheet of 20 hours completed and signed by both the student and parent

*Final Drive Test and all driving time passed with 80% or better

* Returned both the booklet and CD originally assigned or paid 5.oo for each


Guides and Study Sheets

The guides provide you with the information you should know for each of the units and the definitions to words that may be unfamiliar to you. For each of the units you must complete the Study or Mod packet and turn it in to be graded no later than the Friday it is due. The study sheets can also be printed from the page on the right.

Your Permit

Your permit  should be kept with you. Always bring your permit, when we have missing students, we often try to find other students in driver education who have permits and need to drive. The permit is also your identification of who you are in case you need to provide this information.
